Great Product I have lived in my house for 3 years and never used my fireplace until I bought this insert. I love it! No mess and being a single woman cutting wood is not an option and buying wood is an expense I do not want. The only draw back is the glass doors will not shut due to the cord but a small con to a wonderful product. If the remote would turn the heat on and off, I would have given it 5 stars. 01/22/2011
Great product, would recommend to anyone We have a real wood fireplace, however, it doesn't get used because they are so hard to clean. The Dimplex 23 sits right in the fireplace and looks great. 01/21/2011
More Than Expected The fireplace is very attractive and realistic looking. The flames appear 3-d! My husband thought it would be hot to the touch, but the logs remain cool. I wish that there would be a little more heat issuing from the heat source, but I enjoy looking at the fireplace nevertheless. It adds a lot of ambience to the room. I am using the heater in place of a gel-system that was very smelly. I much prefer the looks of this fireplace. 01/19/2011
