Beautiful This is absolutely gorgeous. I put my son's newborn picture in the front, and it looks so nice. It seems very durable too. The blue part is not plasic or paper, but material. It comes with a removable plastic covering for protection of the material while your working on it.While the album is blue, it doesn't specify anything about being for a boy, so you could use it for a girl too.The words on the metal plate around front picture say: Tiny fingers, love, cute & cuddly, tiny miracle, bundle of joy, tiny toes, precious new life, cherished moments, and Welcome baby. 04/10/2009
