Seville Classics Expandable Closet Organizer, Chrome 204 230
This is the second of these closet organizers I have purchased. The first one was much bigger and much better quality. I was so pleased with it, I ordered another one. But unfortuanely the second one I ordered wasnt close to being as sturdy. I was very dissapointed that they came down in quality but not price. 10/24/2011
Great closet organizer, esp for renters. I was looking for something solid to put in my existing closet. We are currently renting so I didn't want to make any permanent changes that I wouldn't be able to take with me, and therefore easily change back when I moved out. This was exactly what I needed. I was going to have it delivered to the store but the shipping fee to my home was so low that I decided to have it delivered. It arrived a full three days before the expected delivery and a full week before the estimate I was given when I made the choice to pay to have it delivered! Bonus!I was able to put it together by myself, so it is perfectly doable for someone to do alone, and probably even faster with help. I just took my time and gave myself plenty of space. I didn't have any missing parts, and it was easy to level the unit as the floor of my closet turns out was uneven. When putting it together, I had to fiddle a bit with the shelf placement so that my rods would not drag the clothing on the floor. The instructions are very clear, but their "suggested placement" for the hanging rods, and the shelves is fine if you are only hanging clothing sized for infants or toddlers.What I did: I grabbed one of my hangers and a blouse typical of the length of the majority of my clothing and used it as a template for where I should place the rods and in turn the shelves. With a little adjusting, I had it put together perfectly and my clothes do not hang on the floor. The adjustable feet also can raise the unit to add any necessary clearance off the floor. It has practically doubled the hanging space in the closet, which was what I wanted, since I share the closet with my husband. There was room leftover when I got done putting all the clothes back in place! I placed the piece of wood serving as a shelf in the closet previously and that solved the problem of the gap caused by the top shelves (which makes sense since it is an expandable unit). I fit all my blankets, pillows and out of season clothes right on top! We have been using the unit for almost four months now, I am incredibly happy with my purchase. 05/04/2012
Better than Expected!! I was looking for a free standing closet organizer as just moved to a rental home after having owned a home for 22 years, and could not put holes in the walls like regular closet organizers required. The reviews for this organizer sounded great and nobody had any issues with assembly. I got the package thru Fed Ex very quickly and found it very easy to put together - took just under two hours. I moved two closets of clothing to the dual rods and shelving. It is sturdy, well constructed, and easy to adjust the clothing rods. I am very, very pleased with this and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a free standing closet organizer. 05/02/2012
Easy to assemble and lots of storage for the space My goal was to maximize storage for the space used. Using two units to make a closet/dressing room from the spare bedroom without putting holes in the walls.Loved the ease of assembly. Chrome is strudy and attractive. The only negative is that long items cannot hang without folding, unless I elminate one of the lower rods, but I need the double rods. The shelves are a good size for folded clothes or purses or shoes. 04/12/2012
