    Customer Product Reviews

    Rated 4.6 out of 5★ by 411reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Seems like a great bargain exerciser. I just got my bicycle put together yesterday. The largest part weighed 27 lbs. and I had to wait until I had help to get it up the stairs. Once I started assembly, I couldn't find the tools that were supposed to come with it. I checked the empty box in the garage, and found that one of the styrofoam blocks had a compartment on the underside that held not only the tools but the pedals! I might have made do with my own tools, but not pedals. It took me about an hour and a half, going slowly, to put the machine together. I did it all by myself and didn't find any part of the assembly that needed two people. The drawings were helpful and complete, but there were so many parts shown that I never compared the parts list with what I had. It looks really complicated from the manual, but it isn't, because the directions break it down to one or two tasks per page, with adequate instructions. The seat is roomy and well-padded, and the action of the pedals is smooth. The computer screen works fine. The bike is comfortable for the short test run I gave it, but I have only done 0.1 mile, so I can't say how it will be on a longer trip.I look forward to many happy hours of biking and keeping fit. 12/13/2013
Rated 3 out of 5★ by Not for Everyone I assembled my bike yesterday. If you are a man who is used to assembling things, you "might" be able to get it together in an hour. I'm a middle aged woman, and it took me probably close to four hours. I had to get the help of my adult daughter to both try to figure out some of the instructions and actually hold certain parts together while I put in the screws. I found the instructions lacking. I had a lot of questions that the instructions didn't answer, but eventually my daughter and I tried various things and got it done. There aren't that many parts, but trying to find the particular part on the picture diagram wasn't easy, and I don't think it was very clear showing where that part was to go. I don't know how just one person could possibly have done some of the assembling by themselves. So, if you live alone and don't have any help, I would be doubtful you could do it. We finally did get it all together. We noticed that the plastic housing which holds the wheel mechanism inside had a gap in it. The two sides (left and right) should have come together with no gap. We discovered that one of the inside factory installed screws had not been properly screwed in. It should have connected the one plastic section with the other. Unfortunately, either the assembly person did not get it tight enough, or the screw wasn't long enough. And the screw is so far inside the unit, that my phillips head screwdriver won't reach it so I couldn't get it out to try a longer screw or be able to see it so I could get the screwdriver to match up with the end of the little screw and enable me to screw it further. I think it was a defect on assembly. I don't think it was damaged in transit. The bike was packed well with lots of styrofoam, which of course had to be broken up in order to remove the various parts, and then I was left with small bits of styrofoam all over my floor and flying everywhere. My daughter was very frustrated with what we had to go through to get it assembled and said to send it back. However, to try to disassemble what I had already put together and try to figure out how to get it back into the box seemed to be an impossible task to me. I don't know how other people return these bikes. Still cannot figure out how to properly get it collapsed into the storage position and where the "safety pins" go in order to put it in the store position, so I guess I'll just leave it in the use position. As far as using it, I think the back rest and seat could be more comfortable. I am 5'7" tall and 155 lbs. I can't imagine someone taller than 5'10" being comfortable using it. I have it set at the maximum length for height. I wish the back could be adjusted up and down, but it can't. It hits me right where I have problems with my lower back. I am using it for only short periods of time to start so as not to aggravate my lower back problem. On the plus side, it is VERY quiet. You wouldn't even know it was being used, and it is very stable on my laminate floor. Doesn't move around at all. The computer is working fine as well. I will probably get use out of it if it doesn't aggravate my back. My main complaints are the lack of clear instructions for assembly, the back rest position (would be helpful if it could go up and down and even move forward and back a little), and the fact that I have to live with the plastic wheel housing unit being separated in the front by about 1/4". I hope dust getting in there doesn't cause a problem. And it doesn't look that great with the gap. I guess a bike that has the options I mentioned would have to cost a good bit more. If you can find this at a store, rather than purchasing online, it might be better in case you decide to return it. 01/05/2014
Rated 5 out of 5★ by GREAT BIKE! This bicycle is very well made, was easy to put together with my husband doing most of the work. best to just look at the pictures instead of reading the instructions, too much detail & confusing. all the parts have their screws and washers, etc. with them. nothing was missing. even the wires were easy to hook up. I haven't exercised in quite a while and I feel I will use this more because it is in my home and more convenient for me. I like the back on the seat since I have a bad back and this gives support. I was looking for a bike for over a year. most are too big and heavy. this bike I can fold up and it is not too heavy for me to move. price was great, also. 01/12/2014

Rated 5 out of 5★ by Great inexpensive bike. I was in need of a bike due to having knee surgery. I was wanting a recumbent bike, but did not have the space for it. When I seen this one I thought I would give it a try. Love it!! Was easy to put together, great value and best of all it is compact and can move from room to room. 03/01/2014
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Exerpeutic 300 Space Saver Semi-Recumbent Bike w/P I just got this bike this weekend and rode it for the first time today. I am 170 lbs. and 5 foot 1 inch. On the lowest setting I reach the pedals just fine and I think a 4 foot 11-5 foot person would too if they have longer legs like I do (I have a short waist). I used the bike for a 1/2 hour and it was totally comfortable, very quiet-no noise) and my scan of pulse, distance, calories etc. worked on my bike with no problem. The bike was also shipped to me in good condition, no holes or anything. It had a booklet included on how to put it together which my husband did in about 45 minutes to an hour. I feel this is a great comfortable bike for the money. As others have said, carry the bike by the low seat, NOT by the plastic scanner or you will have a problem. There are 2 built in wheels on the bike, I would improve that to make real wheels if I were the maker to make it easier on moving it and it would be nice if future versions had a water bottle holder. As far as long term, only time will tell.I bought this as I now have bad knees and this works great with no discomfort like I had on my manual treadmill, which was horrible and not recommended by physical therapists. 03/10/2014
Rated 5 out of 5★ by As good as the big money bikes, start here first. I was looking at the more expensive recumbent bikes until I read all the favorable reviews on this one. I paid $140.00 with tax at WalMart, ship to store, how can you go wrong. It will fit across the back seat of your car if you pick it, not heavy at all. Easy to assemble and well made. I'm a big guy and I'm right at the weight limits of this machine, it holds me well, no flexing. I have it set up in my room and use it a 1/2 hr or more every night, very quiet! I have bad knees and they feel good after this workout, you can work up a sweat easily. Screen is nice with time and distance. Seat is big but after a 1/2 hr you can begin to squirm, I put a big pillow on it and it's fine now. For the price you can't beat this. Does what the big money bikes promise and takes up little space. I'm very pleased with this purchase. 02/02/2012
Rated 5 out of 5★ by I am very satified with the bike, does not take up as much room as other bikes. 03/25/2012
