For the price, this treadmill was easy to put together (20 mins. tops). This is my 1st treadmill. Did thorough research because I'm very active. Thought it was for the elderly at 1st. Though it says walking treadmill, on high, you have to jog. The display is easy to read. The treadmill speed is in tenths increment for gradual speed change. The frame is very sturdy. This is one of the only treadmills with a a 5yr warranty on the motor and 1yr on the frame. I've only had the treadmill two days; went to walmart.com to double check warranty, they were sold out! The long handles are great. Controls are located on the handle also. For the price, construction, assembly time, and warranty....great buy. If it breaks after warranty, I'll buy another one. The only downside, the box is big and heavy (123 lbs). Need two men to lift from store and a truck. Won't fit , even in a large car. Once home, assembled by myself.

I would compare this to mills 3 times the price. My youngest son is 6'5 and 332lbs. He works out hard and the unit takes the use.

This treadmill is much better then I ever expected for the price. I saved for months and needed a treadmill I could get started on. This is perfect. I'm 5 feet even and weigh 230 and I fit perfect on this treadmill. It's wide enough and long enough and takes up so little room when folded up and when using. The control isn't this huge panel blocking out my view like all the other, more expensive models. The controls on the handle bars is a god send when I'm walking. But the most impresive thing is how quiet this thing runs. I remember my old Sears from years ago making as much noise as my washing machine. This thing is so quiet, I don't have to adjust my volumn on the tv at all and I can hear the whole family if they need my attention. I think this should be on every showroom floor at every Walmart, not hidden just online. The ones in the stores have the huge control panel and cost much more and are just huge overall and cumbersome looking. This was money well spent.

I've only had this treadmill for about 3 weeks, but I have to say it was a great investment. I was concerned about whether it would work well for someone my size and it definitely has. I wasn't sure if I would be able to fit between the long arms, but there is plenty of room (I'm about 335 pounds and 5'6), the walking surface is long enough to make walking comfortable (I wasn't sure because it looks rather short online). This treadmill is well built and worth the money. I would most definitely recommend this treadmill!

My wife lost most of her balance nerves to brain surgery. Because of the elongated handlebars and outstanding safety features of this product, she is able to use it with ease and confidence. Outstanding piece of equipment, well worth the expenditure!

I'm a 65 years old man, high: 5.6 f.weight 125 lbs. I want to use this treadmill for walking exercise. And am also concern about space saving for space limitations. Is this machine fit my bill?

    • A. Most likely. I am 73 years old and weigh twice as much as you and I have no problem just walking on it. It is smaller than the other machines.

    • A. Don't know if my review is posted yet, but this is perfect unit. It's exactly what I use it for and leave it open since it's not that large. Will fold up if needed.

I am 6ft.2in. tall and weigh 240 pounds. I do not have a lot of room for a treadmill that is why I am looking at this one. It says it is 47in. long compared to 70in. on the other ones I am looking at. Would the treadmill length be long enough for me? I am 66years old, so I would only be walking, not jogging. I just do not want to be walking and step off the end of the belt. If you think this will be too short do you have any recommendations on another one in this price range that is not 70in. long. Exerpeutic 350 is the one that I am talking about.

    • A. I am 5ft 9in, weigh 270 lbs and bought this machine to help lose weight. I find the platform to be easily long enough for walking. I would say I have about a two foot leeway front to back without falling off the back, so I believe you would have no problem with the short length. Of course, my stride is only about 20 inches since I have short legs. I find the extra long arms to be a big advantage.

    • A. I think you will be fine if all you do is walk. That's all I do and I'm 6' and have no problem. (65 years old) Feel totally secure, especially with longer handles which are a good height for me and probably will be for you.

    • A. My husband is exactly your height and weight! He has used the machine and likes it very much. It also has a safety sensor you can clip onto your belt, collar or sleeve and will disconnect from the machine and immediately stop it if you stumble or fall, or step off too far from it. I have back problems and have to be extremely careful, but I feel very confident with this machine. I am cautious and mindful of what I'm doing, but I feel okay using it. My husband was running on it last night. I have been running too. I recommend holding onto the rails at all times.

    • A. My husband is 6 foot-300 pounds and was also worried about stepping off the belt. He has NO problems at all and feels that it would be very safe for you to use as well. A jogger might be different; but since we both are using it for walking only-this is perfect. Hope this helps.

    • A. Thank you for your question. Initially you might want to measure your stride length.... The Exerpeutic 350 has a treadmill belt length of 36" and at 6'2", this length may not be long enough. It depends if you take short or long strides. For a little more money you might consider the Exerpeutic 440XL which has a wider and longer belt 40"L x 20"W versus the Exerpeutic 350 dimensions of 36"L x 16"W
