Rated 4 out of 5★ by TheBull308 I honestly bought this on a whim, I put it on a old rotten log and came back after it rained and the deer had eaten a hole in the ground. It says use two gallons and was the first one and season isnt even in yet so i know it is worth the money and I highly recomend this product i love it. 09/25/2012

Rated 5 out of 5★ by Zmiracle Great for compost tea! I make a lot of compost tea in which I use molasses for the sugar needed to feed the bacteria as well as the trace minerals that it can add to the tea. Molasses in general can be relatively expensive to use for this purpose so I thought I would give this a try (at $10 a gallon it is quite a bargain for molasses). It doesn't smell like molasses you buy in the store, it smells like the added minerals it claims to have added (which only make the compost tea that much better). The reason I didn't give it 5 stars for expectations is that it does have a preservative in it which I wish it didn't. I couldn't find anything on the site that listed the ingredients so I would have known that ahead of time but to be honest I think I would have bought it anyway. I doubt the preservative does much to inhibit the growth of the bacteria in the compost tea given that so little of the product is used in relationship to the water and compost so I suspect it will be just fine. So far the compost tea I made looks and smells as good as other batches that used regular molasses instead of this product made to lure deer. If you make compost tea you might want to consider this product. 08/06/2014
