I trust this with my life! This headgear is not fancy, but it gets the job done. The punches that landed on my head felt more like a push because the headgear was able to spread out the pressure. It is really good for its value. The only thing that could be better would be more protection on the chin. 08/16/2010

You will be satisfied. I have some karate head gear that always comes off in sparring. This head gear is very secure, it is comfortable, and it doesn't come off even when grappling. It is easy to clean and adjustable. If you need sparring head gear, this is a really gone one to get. Very good price as well. 01/18/2009
head gear I really wanted a different color but he was happy so that's reallt all that matters, I got 2 of these for one of my sons and whatever opponent is available at the time so I wouldn't have to worry when he was boxing. 12/27/2010
