Rated 2 out of 5 by UnhappyinSF Poor quality, but good price. I washed the sleeping bag in a front loading washing machine before I used it. The baffles that holds the insulation in place don't work. So the insulation gets bunched together in head top.If you just need something to keep you warm at night, this might work for you. Otherwise, the quality is not that great. I bought the sleeping bag for the July 4th camping trip. 07/08/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by AMDub I bought this specifically for our Death Valley camping trip (tent). The temperature would be in the 40s and I knew that my old sleeping bag would not cut it. This sleeping bag kept me very warm, at one point during the night I had to unzip it to cool down!2 sleeping bags for $40, they keep you warm, the carrying bag is great (love how it compresses the entire sleeping bag)... You can't go wrong! 03/20/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Cowboyuphi Good cold weather bag For a sleeping bag rated at 5F and costing only $20.. Its an excellent deal. I took it camping in 22F temperature and body was warm with the exception of my feet getting a little cold. I'm 5'11" and 195# and the bag is JUST big enough for me. A bigger person won't fit too well. The only draw back for this bag is the liner is not fleece. It's polyester. Polyester gets cold if you're not touching it. I would recommend purchasing a fleece liner to go with this bag. The head of this bag can cinch up close enough to leave only enough room for your nose and mouth to have an air hole, thus keeping you well protected. Not so much a great bag for backpacking, but is great for tailgate and scout camping. Considering the price for a comparable bag at roughly $250, you can't go wrong with this one. Zippers and stitching have shown to be sturdy and snag free so far and there is added protection along the whole zipper to keep the cold out. No cold leaks. This bag is also comfortable in the mid 70's temperature range. Had no problems with moisture build up inside. Bag doesn't seem to fluff up so well, but I haven't washed it yet nor have I used it more than 1 night at a time. With more frequent use or a washing, this bag might fluff up. 03/13/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by TighteyWhiteys Great sleeping bag, especially for the $$$ Camped out in Nevada desert early January, which usually gets to around 25 faranheit at night. These sleeping bags worked great. Only thing my nephews needed was warm socks since their feet got cold the first night, other than that, they were toasty. For $25 for one, or $20 each for two, you can't beat the price, performance, and they held up for four days without problems. 01/15/2012
