    Rated 2.6 out of 5★ by 53reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Powerful, long life, priced right! I just purchased my 3rd EverStart U1P-7 lawn mower battery. I have been using these batteries in my Craftsman 18 HP riding mower every since the original factory installed battery died. Each of the two EverStart U1P-7 batteries I previously owned lasted about 4 1/2 years. I use my riding mower beginning in spring to cut the grass and I use it in the fall to vacuum up leaves. I am very pleased with these batteries and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a good battery at a reasonable price. 04/15/2014
Rated 1 out of 5★ by I bought this battery on 4-25-13. It lasted to 9-14-13.. That's it.. I have to charge it revery time I use it now, or buy another one.. Well I won't be buying any more battery's from Wal-Mart if they only can give a 90 day warranty.. I think they know it won't last much longer than that. I'm in Texas and the lawn mower is garage kept, so abuse is not the reason for the short short life of this battery.. I must now go have a moment of silence for it and then take it to get another. 10/21/2013
Rated 1 out of 5★ by They just Don't Make Them Like They Use To! My first EverStart lawn mower battery lasted 3+ years so I replaced it with another EverStart and it lasted less than eight months. I kept it on a trickle charger over the winter just like I did the previous battery. 04/10/2013
Rated 4 out of 5★ by "Keeps your lawn mower running all season long" It did keep my mower running all season long. (Murray 18.5 hp garden tractor) However after 14 months it will not hold a charge. I was hoping it would last at least a year and it did. Would've been nice if it lasted another. Probably would buy again. Everstart batteries are manufactured by Johnson Controls- which among other things, manufacture batteries under the Optima, Varta, LTH and Heliar name. 06/15/2012
Rated 1 out of 5★ by junk bought one last year started going bad in the middle of the season had to start the mower with a charger to finish out the season. I wouln't recomend buying this battery unless you plan on buying new ones every 6 months and the warranty is only 3 months 04/13/2013
Rated 1 out of 5★ by dead in less than a year I bought my 25hp Craftsman mower in 2002. The original battery lasted six years. The replacement from Advanced Auto lasted four years. I bought this Walmart battery last spring. The sticker on top says 4/12. By last fall, I had to charge it every time I wanted to mow. Now it won't even charge. Absolute garbage. 05/05/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Treat it Right. It will LAST. I'm just starting my 5th season with this battery. I store it inside in the winter. If you have a problem starting your tractor - CLEAN THE CONNECTIONS. Dirty terminals and wires will keep a good battery from starting and charging. I did have to jump it this year, but after letting the tractor run for a while, I turned it off and was able to restart the tractor. Maybe one more season! Maybe more! 03/11/2014
Rated 4 out of 5★ by After 7 years, need to replace my second EverStart My first (original) battery, that came with my YardPro riding mower, lasted, about 4+ years. I replaced it, with an EverStart U1P-7 battery, that has lasted over 7 years now, but, will not take a charge, anymore, but, I can still use jumper cables, to jump start it, and, cut my large lawn, but, if, for some reason, the mower stops, I have to re-jump start it, and, I am able to continue mowing my lawn, until completion! Seeing as I get tired, of jump starting, the old battery, I am breaking down, and, buying me a brand new EverStart battery. It has done much more, than expected, for my riding mower, and, I am very happy, with the battery's overall performance, "and," it's price, which is very hard to beat! Now, if I could only get my mower decks, to quit wearing huge holes, in it, due to the sandy conditions, associated with my lawn, I would be ecstatic! I need to replace/install, another mower deck, in my riding mower, which will be the third mower deck, not counting, the original, mower deck, that came with the riding mower! "Shoot," I'm going through more mower decks, than I am batteries??? Doggone, sandy terrain, flat eats up, them mower decks! Only reason I didn't give this battery a 5, rating, is because, after 7 years, it won't hold a charge, any longer! I'd still rate it a 4.75, or, 4.8, out of 5 stars!!! 07/17/2012
