The seat looks comfortable and I feel like my little one is really safe. My little one enjoys it, much more than the infant carrier (LO is 9 months old). I think that the seat will last for awhile. I like the fact that the harness is easy to adjust because I hate rethreading the straps. Such a time saver. My Only COMPLAINT is that the seat was manufactured last year. As many know, car seats have expiration dates because the plastic and foam used become aged and brittle and are no longer safe. So I was not happy to receive a seat that was already a year old, but needed a seat ASAP and did not return it. I ended up ordering a car seat for our second car directly from the manufacturer and it was only a week old! So, I love the seat but I'm not sure I would recommend ordering it from a store online if you cannot verify the expiration date. 06/03/2013
Rated 4 out of 5★ by Arlalane76 Mrs I recieved this carseat as a gift when my son was 6 weeks old. it worked great then ( with a little extra padding ) and it still works great today when is is nearly 5 years old. The carseat has proven to be comfortable and very durable. It traveled in the cargo hold of a plane a couple times, and has been moved from car to car a few times. I will admit that the installation is a bit difficult, it usually takes me 20 minutes to get it in just right, but when it is in, it is VERY sturdy, as if was built directly into the vehicle. The only real complaint I have in all these years, is the red plastic pieces at the top of the shoulder straps hurt my child's neck. I guess this could be remedied by using some of those seatbelt wrapper things or some similar padding, but I haven't found anything that works that he won't remove. All in all, I would buy again. My son has spent MANY hours in this seat, and other than the occassional complaint about the irritating straps , he still likes his carseat and happily sleeps in it during long trips. 11/12/2012
Rated 5 out of 5★ by JLHW I have one year old twins that grew out of their infant car seats and were ready for the next size. In searching for a car seat I was looking for convenience as well as a good price (since I had to purchase two)! I found both of these things in the Evenflo Triumph convertible car seat. I love that the shoulder straps can be easily adjusted up and down by holding on to the straps at the red grips and simply pulling up or down. Tightening or loosening the straps is also very simple with the side nob. The nob comes on both sides so that you can place the car seat on any side of the car and still have easy access to a nob, but you only have to use one nob to actually adjust the car seat. I also love the recline positions. So far, it seems like in the forward facing position on the second recline, the car seat reclines enough that my children's heads do not fall forward when they fall asleep. Probably the best feature of this car seat is that you can take the cover off without re-threading any of the straps. When the cover needs to be cleaned, I can simply slip the cover off, wash it, and replace it without having to move or unstrap the car seats. The only feature that is cheaply made is the cup holder (which can be attached to either side of the car seat), but to me, that is a very small problem compared to the overall convenience of this car seat. 03/25/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by LibertyLeopard Bought second one for other car Just can't beat the ease of installation and use. My only knock against it was that my other Triumph 65(of a different design) gave an extra lumbar cushion. Otherwise, a great product and buy. 08/09/2013
