Evenflo - Top of the Stairs Extra-Tall Gate 57 64
Works, but latch mechanism is iffy.. Gate works well. The only problem I have is that the latch mechanism is a bit difficult to operate with one hand and child in the other arm. Other than that it was a breeze to install. 08/31/2010
Wonderful! I bought this gate online. It was super easy to install. The quality of the gait is really good. I was able to stain it to match the rest of the wood in my home easily but it would have looked nice as is if that was my choice. It is easy to open and close, my six year old can do it himself. The height is wonderful as well. No more bending! It is in a high traffic are of our home and we are so pleased with it that we bought another one! 08/13/2010
My sister-in-law had these gates installed when she had her daughter and I was really impressed. They were so easy to use and they look nice too. Since we just finished building a two story house and are expecting baby no 2 next month we realized we need gates for the stairs. We purchased them a couple of weeks ago and they work great. My 7 yr old has no troble opening them and closing them either which is a huge plus so she can go up and downstairs when she wants. I would definitely recomend these gates to anyone with small children or even dogs they need to keep off the stairs. 08/07/2010
Does what it's meant to do I have this gate at the top of my open basement stairs. It has held up very well. I just purchased another one for my daughter to use as a temporary barrier to the pool deck of a house she just purchased. I wish it was a little taller for this use since 4' is recommended but that's not what it is intended for anyway. 08/05/2010
