He busted it down twice in the first week, even after tightening it another notch (to the point the bar was bowing out). Nice gate, just not for a bionic weiner dog. Originally, we were just using it for our dachshund, but when my 1-year-old nephew was visiting, it really helped him out. His fingers don't get caught, and it was sturdy enough for him to hang on while he was walking from person to person. A worthwhile investment! 04/29/2013
