Very Cute - Great Buy! We bought this car seat for our 26 month old daughter. She is light weight for her age, and it was hard to find a booster seat for made for children under 30 lbs. I am very pleased with this seat as it converts from a car seat to a booster as the child grows. We shouldn't have to buy another seat for our daughter. The design is much cuter in person. At first the cup & cd holder and arm rests kept falling off. However, I realized they snap in place, and they haven't fallen off since. I am very pleased with the seat and would recommend for any little girl! 09/06/2009
Cute but with problems... I'm really torn on this product. It's very cute, and it has good safety ratings, but the extras really fall short. First, the arm rests and container trays are very unstable. They detach very easily and cannot really be securely anchored into their spots. It's annoying when the armrests pop off every time any bit of pressure is put on them. Another feature that I'm not happy with is the placement of the adjuster for the 5 point harness. It's hard to explain, but where it sits makes buckling in very awkward on the child's right side. It's great if you adjust frequently, but I buckle more than adjust, so it really gets in the way. Furthermore, the lap latches are easy to lose in the seat, and I have to dig to find them every time I buckle her in.The features I do like are the materials and the chest buckle on the harness. The material is pretty and seems pretty sturdy. I like the removable headpiece and seat piece, which can be washed easily. Also, the chest harness is much more sturdy and complicated than other ones I've seen, which keeps my curious toddler secure in her seat.The product is okay, but I would think there are others out there that would have the same good features without the bad. I wish I could have tried this out in the store, but having bought it online, I didn't want to mess with returning it after I had assembled it. Love the style, quality and price I purchased orginally for my 7 month daughter as she is almost too tall for her infant carrier. I had reviewed so many car seats on-line and in stores, and did not realize that this car seat was only for face-forward toddlers. So, I put my 23 month old daughter's car seat (as is for 0-40lbs and rear facing ) to 7 month old. So, now my 23 month old daughter is using this car seat and I love it. She is comfortable and works well for her. I am very excited that this car seat will take us to 100lbs. And will not have to purchase another. The set up was easy and even set it up as rear facing and felt like it was even more secure than the car seats made for rear facing. I turned it around and have my toddler in until 7 month daughter turns 12 months. Just to follow guidelines from company. The straps on the car seat are a little different than what I am used to. But works well. Really happy with product and using store to store site was great. I did not have to pay shipping this way. No other local stores had a car seat which was 20-100lbs. at this valued cost. If I ever find something I want online and not available in store I will for sure use this wonderful service again. 01/25/2009
Super Cute! This seat is even more adorable in person, I just love it! We bought one for both vehicles, so that we did not have to move it constantly! There is not a whole lot of set-up involved, and installation is a breeze. I have had no problems with the arm rests popping off as some others had complained about, they snap into place easily. The cup holder and snack holders DO come off as they do not snap into place because they are removable, However I have not had them come off on me yet in the car! My daughter seems very comfy in her new big girl seat! My only issue with this seat is that it does sit up very straight, it has a very slight recline, and I was hoping that it would be a little more reclined so that my daughter could put her head back when she sleeps since she is only 15 months old... she falls asleep and her head rests on the sides of the seat, so its not too bad, her head isn't in her lap or anything. I would recommend this seat to anyone, its a great seat at a great price! 10/01/2009
