The Eureka Rally 2 Canister Vacuum strikes the elusive, optimum balance between lightweight portability and robustness to provide unparalleled efficiency in the cleaning process. Weighing less than 12 pounds, this compact canister vacuum helps you choose from floor types to suit different cleaning surfaces. For instance, you can switch from bare floor to carpeted areas at the flick of a button, which adapts the cleaning process to conform to the change in surface. A cursory glance at the bag change indicator reveals if the bag needs to be emptied. You can set the height of the handle to suit your convenience using the adjustable telescopic handle. The hose swivels in 360° facilitating hassle free vacuuming in all directions while the 17-feet power cord lets you cover large areas without resorting to a different power outlet. The automatic cord rewind vacuum lets you rewind the cord using a cord-rewind button so you can store the Eureka vacuum cleaner with ease.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Beanaford Fantastic. A friend of mine recommended this little guy to me and her brother for our city apartments. Now three of us are ecstatic with our purchase.It gets five stars from me for the following reasons:1) COMPACT! for a tiny vacuum, it packs a lot of power; i absolutely love the clever design that both houses and hides the extra suction/brush. Also the main silver tubing slides down to a smaller size as well. Super convenient for small spaces.2) Powerful - I was worried that this pint sized vacuum would be the equivalent of a dustbuster. Not at all. Instead, i have to be careful not to tear down the drapes and suck up the carpets because of the strong suction.3) Gets into tight spaces. My landlord provided a standup vacuum cleaner but aside from the main floor, it wouldn't fit under much furniture or be able to get into the tiny corners without switching to a different brush. Also, it weighed about 50 pounds. This slides under every piece of furniture and gets into the corners. There's also the tiny brush/corner piece that gets those really hard to reach corners.4) On the same note, the two brushes are unusual in that each of them has double functions - so its like having 4 extensions rather than 2. The corner suction piece flips out a small brush head for furniture etc. And the main vacuum head has a brush feature as well so you can use it on carpet, or flip it off to use it on hardwood/tiles.5) the price. I couldn't find anything for less that had as many stars. As of this review - there are 106 people who reviewed this to a combined rating of 4 out of 5 stars. I'd say that's pretty good odds that you're about to buy a great vacuum cleaner.Highly recommended. :) 01/23/2011

Rated 1 out of 5 by fallingwater Useless I am baffled why so many like this thing. It was okay on the hardwood but on carpet its useless. I had to go over the same spot several times to pick up visual dirt. The cord is not long enough. I have to stop halfway up the stairs to unplug and replug this thing in. Honestly, it didn't even seem like it vacuumed anything. The carpet doesnt even have a slight mark on it. Maybe it just picks up light lint that sits on top of the carpet. The wand is simply too short. I am hunched over using this thing and I am only 5'4, so its not like I am a tall person. Had a shoulder ache after using it 15 minutes. My store had the bags so I bought several packages. There was no issue for me on this but since so many complain about it, I am wondering if Walmart is ready to stop selling this. I know this machine was only 48 bucks but its not worth it to keep. I am going to return this, hopefully the store won't give me a hassle. 09/16/2010

We bought our house a year ago, it has all hardwood floors, and I had found NOTHING that cleaned them the way I wanted and sweeping every day was awful! I thought this vacume would let me down just like everything else, but boy was I wrong. It is amazing!!!! it cleans top to bottom. I only wish it would have came with a larger brush tool (it comes with a small one). I LOVE this vacume! 08/20/2010
