    Mixed Review We were looking for a better vacuum to combat the pet hair problem. We didn't want to shell out the cash for a Dyson so we researched what the best mid-level upright would be and this one had the best reviews.As for our experience with it, I'm not really that satisfied with it. The first one we bought broke within 30 seconds of use. I had it set on middle level height and went across the edge of a thick shag rug and the roller motor burned out pretty much instantly. I went right back and returned it. Make sure you are using it for the right height carpet.Next issue is with all the filters. I get a performance light about every other time. I take all the filters out and wash them and clean all the screens and it works one more time then I have to do it all again. We've had it less than 3 months and the exhaust filter is clogged which is what makes the performance light come one. Those filters can't be cleaned with running water, you have to buy a new one and they're not cheap, especially to be doing it every 3 months. Another issue is that the little rollerhead attachment for the house gets clogged about the 3 time we used it with pet hair. It doesn't work anymore. Another issue is that the hook on the back that holds the rolled cord has broken because the vacuum fell backwards on hardwood floors. Because the vacuum is so heavy, it fell with a lot of force.We have a Great Pyrenees which has really long hair and he sheds a lot. This vacuum doesn't do as good as everyone has said it would, for us at least. If you have smaller pets with shorter hair then you might have better luck. I won't buy another one. 03/03/2009
    Vacuum-take apart to clean - repeat repeat I have had much cheaper vacuums that have worked WAY better than this one. I spend more time taking it apart to clean clogs than I do vacuuming. It's roughly 2 months old and now the roller doesn't work. Buy a hoover. The tube has too many bends in it and it is constantly clogged. The top filter is always filled. Worst vac I've ever owned and I had one that cost $40!! Right now I'm sorry I gave it away when I got this one. 03/05/2009
    Just ok for me At first I loved this vacuum, it has always had really good suction, but I have had it for just over a year and I have had to get it repaired twice. The first time they had to replace the roller and barrings, and now they need to replace the entire motor. I have already spent more fixing it then I did buying it. A good reliable vacuum is important in my house with having an American White Shepherd (big shedder), a beagle not to mention a toddler. So now I am looking for a new vacuum. 01/07/2009
    We love it We have a Chow Chow with lots and lots of hair. We love this vacuum. It holds up to the long hair that continually comes off our dog and it is bagless with a large container that lets us get more than one cleaning between having to dump it. That will save us lots of money. The hand held accessory is great too. It really gets the hair off of upholstery.The only thing that would have made it better would be a retractable cord. But with as long a cord that is on it I don't know if it would be possible.We have already suggested this to our friends. 11/21/2009
