Really works well! I saw the Maximum Strength Estroven was on sale at Walgreen's about a month ago and so I decided to try it,since I've been having very uncomfortable hot flashes every night for the past year. (I'm 52.)I was somewhat skeptical, but began taking it each night a little bit before dinner. I noticed results pretty quickly, after about 2 weeks. I just finished up the pack of 28 pills and for the pats week I've noticed no hot flashes at all, even having skipped taking the pill the last 4 nights!!Just to repeat, I was taking the Max Strength and didn't realize there were different variations,which I see here are half the price of the maximum strength. I'm pretty sure it's the black cohosh that is having the positive effrect, so I think now i'll go to the store and see if the amount of black cohosh in this variety is the same; even if it isn't, I think I'll try it, given that I'm still feeling hot flash-free after skipping the pills a few nights in a row.I'f you're having trouble with hot flashes, I'd say you should definitely give this a try. Be patient and see if it works for you. I'm not one for taking meds, even over-the-counter herbal meds, so i'm going to experiment with the dosage to find the minimum amount I need to stay hot flash free. 12/28/2011
Not sure I take this at night but it is the one a day menopause formula that really made the difference. Estoven alone did not really make a difference. 09/29/2011
