After two months-- The chair arrived in good shape. My husband put this chair together so I can't comment on that but he did it without problem (but I think he's a great assembler). It is sturdy and attractive, has a large variety of options. I was very pleased with the positioning options and range. It doesn't quite do what I need it to for me to be comfortable. I find the seat hard, and I can't as much forward tilt with enough distance from the back. I would need a seat that slides out and tilts a bit more, but that would be a chair more than double this price. Other than the hard seat this chair is as advertised. 11/15/2010
Not super comfortable. I was looking for an office like chair that could be higher because I have a counter height desk. I thought it would be the same as an office chair but higher but it's not. It;s not as soft and cushy as I would like and I wish there was more seat space. Decent chair but I don't like any stool length chair I realized. I don't like my legs hanging off the ground and it's just as uncomfortable to place my feet on the feet ring. 01/26/2012
good bang for the buck I purchased 3 of these drafting chairs for office use. We've been using the chairs for about 2 months. I've been happy with them. One of the chairs had a slight problem. However, it would not deter me from purchasing a 4th chair when the times comes that we will need it.Pros: Great for a limited budget, easy to assemble, has arms, sturdy footrest, look great &they're comfortable.Cons: One of the plastic handles on the height adjustment bar broke into 6 pieceswhen adjusting the height. It probably had a hairline fracture thatwasn't detected by QC. The broken handle does not interfere with the over all functionor appearance. Therefore, it's not worth the hassle of loading the chair up and takingthe chair back. 01/16/2012
