A Real Mistake We bought this chair because of its supposed ergonomic features. Instead of being ergonomically correct, however, it caused considerable back pain in every person in our household who tried it. It was a complete waste of money. 11/11/2009
Definitely keeps your back straight I obtained the same model but with a backrest. The initial construction required a little bit of effort because the instructions were not step-by-step but everything was there and the challenge was kind of entertaining for me. The chair definitely keeps your back stright while I sit in it. A positive change from the usual hunched over posture I tend to get into. A little dissapointed in the weight limit of 200lbs. which is not mentioned anywhere on this site but luckily I am still able to use it. The posture with the weight on the knees tends to get a little tiresome or just might take some time to get used to it but the benefits of an upright posture might out weigh the constant weight on your knees. If I can't get used to it, I will probably use it sporadically. Sit up straight. 10/18/2010
