The Equus 3120 Innova Diagnostic Code Scanner is designed to retrieve diagnostic trouble codes and definitions in all OBD2 and some popular OBD1 vehicles. This automotive code scanner features a unique patented screen display and LED display for quick state emissions readiness checks and drive cycle verification. The on-screen DTC definitions and other user interfaces can be displayed on the screen of the Innova OBD code reader in English, Spanish, or French. This code scanner also includes a memory feature for storing readings, which can be used during off-car review and analysis.

OBDII is still evolving , and new codes and definitions will be added as the system matures. Equus' database is constantly being updated to include more Manufacturer specific (P1) code definitions. Currently their database contains code definitions for the following Manufacturers: Acura, Honda, Alfa Romeo, Audi, Chrysler, Ford, Geo, GM, Honda, Hyundai, Infiniti, Isuzu, Jaguar, Kia, Land Rover, Lexus, Mazda, Mercedes, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Porsche, Saab, Saturn, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, Volkswagon, and Volvo. OBDII is on vehicles that were manufactured from 1996 and newer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by LoserDave Great, if you don't need it anytime soon The product itself is OK , does not do all OBD-I cars only a few.If you really need this item to diagnose your dead car, DO NOT order it from Walmart. It takes nearly 20 days to receive it. Product delivery date kept being pushed back. Not allowed to cancel order, had to spend extra money to diagnose my car. I just couldn't wait on walmarts slowness.. 04/21/2011
