I'm elderly. The safety cap on bottle is difficult to open. In fact, I need to take some of the medicine now and having to wait till someone else can try and open the bottle for me. 02/09/2012
Truly an excellent generic. Equate Tussin DM is an excellent replacement for the MUCH more expensive brand name product.I frequently find that generics are of somewhat lower quality as reflected by their price and in medications this usually takes form of less pleasant taste, slower action due to binder/filler formulation, or they are very hard to chew or too flakey and break apart to easily due to the cheaper formulation although the actual active ingredients may be exactly the same and in same amount.This product being liquid does not have these drawbacks and the taste while not as good as the brand name product is not unpleasant. It seems to work just as effectively and fast as brand name product which costs over twice as much. 11/18/2011
