Rated 5 out of 5Â by sweety1981md Works perfect, saves money! I also don't understand the bad reviews. They work perfectly fine for me. Never had a problem and I use them all the time. If by chance you can't insert with the cardboard, why would you throw half a box worth away because of that? Like previous reviewer said, if that's the case just use like an OB. I decided that, these tampons were the cheapest ones out there and, even if the applicator was really bad, I could use them like O.B. tampons if necessary (not even O.B.s are this cheap per tampon). I would rather use the applicator but, if that is what it takes to get tampons at this price that are useable, I'm up to the challenge. I decided I would try the applicator when I got these anyway. I have used tampons with cardboard applicators before where the cardboard would stick together and would make it near impossible as well as ones that bent from the pressure of my fingers. I was totally surprised that my experience with these weren't like many of the other peoples'. The applicator glided smoothly, no problem getting stuck or bending. I bought 5 more boxes because they totally exceeded my expectations. Thanks, Walmart, for putting out this product at this price:) 12/03/2012
