It also minimizes the problem of slipping and skidding. It is an ideal choice for latch-hook or punch-needle rug or any wall hanging. You can use your old rugs for a longer time with the help of this latex rug backing. Just a thin coating of non-skid rug backing is applied with the help of a paint brush to increase the durability of the rugs. It can be easily machine washed with the combination of soap and water and gets dried quickly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by inmyroom Great way to save an old carpet. I had a couple of holiday rugs that I purchased several years ago. Both had that horrible backing that over time dries out and leaves a powder-like substance on your floor. After reading some of the reviews I went ahead and bought the product. Prior to applying the product I used a stiff brush to remove as much of the old backing as possible then applied a thin coat. I was thrilled to discover that after it dried the carpet no longer had that horrible powder coming off the back. I can even shake the rug and still no powder. YEH! 02/02/2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by babypayne Amazing stuff!!! I have been beyond pleased with the quality of this product. All it took was a 1" paint brush and about 10 minutes to coat the back of a rug. I have used it on three rugs and it is holding up great. My only suggestion is to apply the backing outdoors. It does have a bit of an odor. Within 30 minutes, the rugs were dry and ready to use. 07/21/2011
