Rated 5 out of 5 by Bkwyoming Great for outdoors I'm a Scoutmster for a Boy Scout Troop in California and this headlamp is great. Its been dropped, kicked soaked by water stepped on and it keeps on going. The buttons still work and the light with batteries lasts at least 3-5 months with continuous use on the trail or in the campsite. Its comfortable to wear, not supper heavy or bulky. The elastic band has kept up for 2 years now without streching or fraying due to hard use. I take it wherever I go and has never let me down. You could pay more, but why. It does what its supposed to do. My scouts love them. 05/02/2012
