Lakalaba's 2-star review is INCORRECT. The batteries with 2500-mAh capacity that this person was referring to are AA batteries, not the AAA batteries in this product description. The 750 mAh capacity of these batteries is very good for this size of battery and they last for quite a while when fully charged. I'd recommend getting the 15-minute quick charger for these (esp. since it comes with a vehicle charger too!). Contrary to popular belief, the technology in the latest NiMH batteries allows for quick charging like with this charger, as opposed to older types of rechargeable batteries. Just make sure that you keep the batteries in the charger EVEN AFTER THE GREEN LIGHT GOES ON, and only take them out until you hear the internal fan has shut off. This will allow for the charged batteries to be properly cooled down before use.

Basic rechargeable batteries

These batteries will not last very long due to the ampre hours. When you buy rechargeable batteries pay attention to the amp/hour rating. These batteries have a rating of 750amp/hour, you could visit the store get a pack of four 2500amp/hour batteries by energizer for about the same price(10-12 dollars). The 2500 are not quick charge and take about up to 4 hours to fully charge. I also do not recommend buying the combo (batteries/charger) because they also come with 750amp/hour batteries, buy them separately. Take a little while and look at what you are buying. I mainly use them for cameras and Xbox360 wireless controllers (they last a long time.)

I've used AA & AAA size energizer rechargeables with the 15 minute wall charger and the 15 minute cigarette charger for several years now. I've always found these to be a good value because the life in digital cameras, remote controls, keyboards and computer perhiphals seems to be longer than any other battery on the market. The only con that I've found so far - the charger and battery don't seem to be compatible with other brands and vice versa.

When the cordless handset stopped accepting a charge, I knew it was time to replace the rechargeable batteries. These matched the specs of the old batteries. Been working great ever since.

I use these batteries everyday in things from our digital camera, remote controls, my wiresless game controllers, and so on, and last surprisingly long. The cheapest place I've found them is here at WalMart. The 30-minute charger is a must have with these, too. We love these batteries!

I have a Panasonic 5-phone home system. Each unit remains in its charging station when not in use. Will this affect the operation of the units? My current problem is that while using the phone, it will disconnect without warning even though the battery level indicates full charge. It has been suggested that I purchase new batteries for each phone as even rechargeable batteries have a usage life, whether they hold a charge or not. At the time the units disconnect, the battery level is still high, as I've stated. PS: Nickname listed is an anagram of my last name.

  • A. Not really sure... I do know that rechargeable batteries are designed to be drained of their power... just like your cell phone you should let it totally drain and shut down every other charge so you get the most life out of the battery you can... If you keep it plugged in to charge all the time it will loose it's holding power and drain rapidly. The remote for my bed... for instance... I just recharged the battery in it and it's been in there since I got my batteries and charger. When I keep getting error messages on the remote... the manufacturer recommends you change the battery... I've had rechargeable's for my remotes, my bathroom scales, my mouse for my computer, and various other things that take batteries... which alot were bought when I bought my charger 7 years ago... I'm still using them and they still hold a charge.

  • A. I use them in a Panasonic 3 phone system and haven't had any problems with them. You can try new batteries and if that doesn't work then the problem is probably the phones.

  • A. The package says the charge will last for 1 year, but otherwise doesn't say how long the charge will last. It indicates it can be used for any device.

  • A. I don't see why not... after you charge your batteries... they're just like any other Energizer or Duracell battery. But to have total confidence in their use... You should contact your phones manufacturer to find out for sure...

  • A. Take the back off of your phone and look. It most likely uses a different battery than AA or AAA.

  • A. NO don't buy these! I almost bought these battery's last nite at Walmart because they were only $10 for 4 but i thought i better talk w/ an Electronic Tech 1st b4 buying these as they don't sell the Panasonic Ni-MH triple A's in the store that came w/ my talking Panasonic Dect 2 phones, he said these won't work properly. So go the extra mile like i'am and get the right kind. Hope this helped..!

  • A. These batteries work in ANY product requiring battery usage. Make sure you buy the "Energizer" recharger when you buy the batteries (my charger came with 4 AA batteries), and get the one that recharges BOTH AA and AAA batteries. We haven't had to buy new batteries for over a year!
