Rated 4 out of 5★ by WifeandMominTX Good chair for nursery or elsewhere I bought this glider/recliner when I was pregnant with baby #3. We had a cheaper wood-framed glider when our first 2 kids were babies, and this one is definitely more comfy than the other one was. I like that it is a recliner instead of just a glider with an ottoman, because I never really used the ottoman much with our old chair, and it was just in the way most of the time. The color is nice and neutral, so after the baby gets older, if we want to move it to another room of the house, we shouldn't have to re-upholster it, which is a nice bonus. It was convenient being able to order the chair through the Walmart website and have it delivered to our local store without paying for shipping. I would definitely recommend the "site to store" option, if you have a way to pick it up at the store and get it to your house. There are only 2 negative things I can think of about this chair. First, it would be nice if the back of it was a little bit taller, so that you have something to rest your head on while you're rocking or feeding the baby. I'm not that tall (about 5'6"), and when I try to lean my head back on the chair, my head falls all the way back so that I'm looking at the ceiling. Not the most comfy position. But I looked around some, and it doesn't seem like there are many upholstered gliders available that are high enough to lean your head on. The other negative is that it costs a little more than I was hoping to spend. We were originally hoping to find something in the $300-400 range, but it didn't seem like we were going to get the quality we wanted in that range, so I guess it's worth it.Overall, it's a comfortable chair that I think we'll get a lot of use out of. 11/13/2009
Rated 1 out of 5★ by ATavares Worst purchase decision I bought this chair because the description said it rocked, reclined, glided and swiveled... Wow! Sounded like a dream to rock my precious daughter to sleep! Yes, it does all of the things it promised but good luck getting up out of the chair once you're in the reclined position. I literally cannot get out of it for the life of me, and neither can anyone else! Every time I recline I need to call my husband in to the room to kick in the footrest so the seat comes up and I can get out of the chair. Really a pain when you're holding a newborn.Also- let's be clear: the chair is NOT sage colored. Not at all. Its a beige color with a hint of moss green. Does not match the room I bought it for, so I had to immediately purchase a slipcover to hide the ugly color. The only "pros" I can think of are that cushions are comfy, and don't seem to sag.I hope this post is helpful and it keeps someone from making the same mistake I did. 11/05/2013
