Emma Convertible Futon Sofa Bed, Black 42 50
Just What I had Expected! I have kept an eye on this particular futon since the day it made its debut on the Walmart site and I am happy I had done so. Why not? ...I mean this futon looked comfy and definately had style judging by the pictures shown on the site. So I had ordered the futon and it had taken exactly 17 days to arrive from the site to the store. A bit of a long time, however, I will add that it was around thanksgiving holiday and it was a very large shipment. Nonetheless, if it saves me over a hundred bucks in shipping costs then I don't mind waiting. The package is shipped in the bed position. Therefore, you want to bring a truck that can handle that size. Fortunately, my futon was not missing any parts and was not damaged during shipping.As for the futon itself, I am satisfied with the quality. The faux leather is nice to the touch, eyes, and nose because it does not smell. It is very easy to adjust the arms and to go from the couch to the bed positions. Does the price of it justify the quality? Honestly, $250 would seem fair for this futon but I still have no regrets. How is the cushioning? It is NOT as cushioned as it seems and the center crease of the mattress may tend to get annoying. However, this is common with really any futon. Also, there are two additional support legs that are built into the back for support when in the bed mode. I thought this was pretty neat, especially how they are hidden in a pocket zipper built into the back and folded out when needed. So overall, I would recommend this futon more so for style over comfort and as more of a guest bed rather than your primary resting place. I hope this review was helpful. Great!!! It is a great modern sofa, however if you want to use it as a bed...it is kind-a firm. I bought a queen size mattress topper (memory foam) from Wal-Mart for 120$. Although it is queen size, it fits almost perfect on the couch. It is one of the most comfortable beds I have tried. If you a planning to put a mattress topper make sure you buy a queen size. My friends thought it was an expensive bed, they could not believe that it was a couch. 02/13/2011
Best Futon This Futon is high quality and very comfortable.Is is super heavy when trying to move it though, but worth it. Perfect as a bed for guest as well.Extremely firm. I purchased for less than $300 and feel that I have gotten a great deal! 01/22/2010
Really nice for the money This shipped to the store and the box was severely damaged but the product ended up being just fine.It looks very expensive and is very versatile. Easy to install with good tools. Looks very modern and sleek. I would recommend it. Most futons looks cheap but this one is great. 12/31/2009
