I bought this mainly because it boasted that it came with 300 songs. In my thinking, they would be some 80's, 90's karaoke favorites or something. Not the case at all. 300 bs songs that most people never heard and some for pre-schoolers. Very disappointed in that!! Point being, go with a cheaper version and purchase your own music. Everything else seems great but to a little girl who wants to sing, the music it came with ....yuk! 12/25/2011
Works good, 300 songs are not worth it Pros: First, I really like the machine. It works good and the screen is 7 inches, larger than many. The words are easy to read although there is no way to enlarge the text that I could find. The product is very light weight so I can carry it around.Cons: The product advertises: 300 songs! The music included is not for karaoke - it has the singers' voices and the music isn't anything anyone would sing. There are two discs: 200 songs are childrens' "classics" (most I have never heard of) and 100 songs are Christmas/holiday songs (where I only knew about 1/3). I will probably never use the discs, especial since they are not for karaoke. I think it's silly the songs included had so much emphasis put on them. 02/19/2012
Great karaoke machine for home. I had bought a different karaoke machine at first with no reviews to go by because it was new. It had all kinds of malfuntions. Went to cousins house and they had the older version of this Emerson machine and it worked really well, so I got this one. It has worked 100% better from the time I turned it on than the $200.00 Electrohome I had just gotten. We are able to control the sound of the mic and the sound of the music. I was unable to with the Electrohome. This machine actually makes our voice sound half way decent for having bad voices. The Emerson is totally worth getting! 04/04/2012
Great Product I was extremely happy with this product. It arrived quickly and promptly. I was able to use this for my daughter's 7th American Idol party and the sound was loud enough to fill the hall. It worked great with my ipod, mp3 player, and the CDs. I haven't had time to try the music that came with the karaoke machine. 05/23/2012
