Rated 4 out of 5 by Ziroz Not a bad mount, but has some minor shortcomings I purchased this mount because I was looking for a full motion one at a reasonable price to hang a 37" TV on a bedroom wall. For others who are considering it, I just wanted to make you aware of a couple issues I had. First, make sure that the VESA mounting holes on the back of your TV are no wider than 400mm - either check your manual or measure them. I didn't do this, and quickly discovered that my VIZIO 37" flat screen's mounting holes were 510mm - too wide for this mount to work out of the box. Clearly, this was my own fault and not the product's. I just mention it here to make you aware. (I was, however, able to work around this with a quick trip to the home center and about $10 in misc hardware). Secondly, this mount is made to be anchored into either concrete walls or to wall studs. DON'T EVEN THINK about trying to use wall anchors in plasterboard. This is a heavy bracket, and combined with the weight of a large TV, it won't hold for long with wall anchors. If you are like most, you'll likely be securing it to wall studs and I must caution you to MAKE SURE that your wall studs are no farther apart than the usual 16". It just so happens that where I wanted to mount this unit, my wall studs were 17" apart and the holes on the wall mount maxed out at 16". I did come up with a work around for this problem that involved very minor modifications to the mount to give me that extra inch, and now all is well. It's on the wall, sturdy, and works as advertised. I would recommend it only if you first take the precautions I have outlined here. 08/29/2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wrinkelneck Heavy duty... Heavy. This thing weighs a ton, and is well worth the money. It is a much better value than other units costing twice the money, and worth the wait for delivery. The only problems I had were 1.) after mounting the unit on the wall, a three-prong electrical plug will not pass through the area provided for electrical cords. Loosened the three mounting screws a little and it slipped right through. And 2.) although an extensive packaging of misc. screws used to mount the TV to the supporting arms were provided, my set didn't have the metric screws needed. A trip to the local store for a few screws solved that problem. And lastly, the instructions were drawn incorrectly but since it is a very simple device it can easily be assembled by a ten-year old. Hopefully you will have studs to mount this thing to because it is very heavy. I think it weighs far more than my 32" LCD set. 10/25/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by HappyNewTvOwner Easy to install Make sure you read the directions for install..do not mount into just your wall(sheetrock) make sure you mount into studs..as with the weight of the mount and the weight of your tv,,you will have to make sure you are mounting this into studs.It is a good idea to have 2 people help with this and the tv My husband and i did it without any trouble. A Great mount for the price. Did not need the HDMI cable that came with it but bought this mount anyway because the same mount without the cable was the same price..and other mounts were more costly.. this mount moves from left to right and we can see the tv with perfect viewing from either side of our large master bedroom. it also pulls out,or you can push it in as well as tilting down so that you can see the tv without any trouble from anywhere in the room.. It says it is for olny 23"-47" Tv's my Tv is 55" and it works perfectly with the mount.. you have to make sure when you buy a mount that the Vesa specs on the tv are the same as your mount.. and as long as those match it does not matter if your tv is bigger.. My Tv was VESA 400x400 which this mount was..the mount they tried to sell me was 600x400 so if i had bought it it would not have fit the holes on the back of my tv.. I am very happy with this mount. 04/11/2013
