Simple and easy TV Viewing on your computer. I had been looking for an option to watch Tv on my computer and be able to record Over the Air shows in HD. There are a few standalone hard driver DVD recorders, but only TIVO had HD recording and that comes with a subscription. I had TV tuners for PC before, but recordings always seemed to come out of sync with audio.The Elgato HDHomerun is the answer I had been looking for. Not only does it have dual tuners, but no wires! At least not to my computer. I hooked it up and had it running on my MAC in less that 20 minutes (mostly scanning for channels).I have time shifting, schedule recording from the guide, and remote watching on my iphone. How is that not great.I highly recommend this product for anyone looking for one more way to record shows and take advantage of the free over the air HD tv. (I use rooftop antenna- so your TV signal will vary depending on your area and antenna) 01/23/2012
