Rated 5 out of 5 by Audes Better Than Anticipated After a few of the reviews I was not sure what to expect - but was pleasantly surprised! The 5 star rating is based on the price vs quality. For the price - the quality if outstanding. We have 2 twin beds we have together because I have a latex mattress and my hubby likes to sleep on a rock. I was not sure if this attached to the bed and if the fact that we have 2 separate beds would be an issue. But, the bed does not attach to the headboard (this is a plus!!) The beds do not tuck inside the headboard either - this was hard to see in the photos if it did or not. I'm not sure how one reviewer did this without tools?? The instructions tell you - you will need a philips head screwdriver, a flat head screwdriver, hammer (to attach the back with nails) and possibly a cordless drill/screwdriver. My husband also used a rubber mallet. This has times on the top - my husband took WAY longer, but was doing this by himself and is not mechanically inclined. It took him 1.5 hours. There is one piece that he had issue with because it does not go to the floor. In some photos it shows that it touches the floor and in others it does not. When you are putting this together you will see which one it is, and it does not go all the way to the floor.There was nothing missing, no scratches, no issues at all. The color we got is espresso and matches our expensive dressers very well. It seems very sturdy. 12/20/2011

It sits stable on carpet, which was my main concern, since it does not attach to the frame. Love the look and storage it has. The only complaint I have is it had a couple of scratches on the top board. Overall, I am more than satisfied! 11/12/2011

I almost threw the back piece away, it was at the bottom of the box and is very thin so be aware of that. The shelves are deep for books and pictures. It goes great with the window and bed decore. 04/23/2011
