You get what you pay for... This is functional and looks decent once assembled. Ours came with two damaged parts that we had to contact the manufacturer for replacement. It is inexpensive and the quality shows that. Since we are just using the piece in the hallway by our garage it serves it's purpose! 12/05/2011

All the pieces for the bench look good and assembly was fairly simple, but I felt like the provided hardware was pretty cheap. After assembled it looks ok, but I am wondering how long it will be before I have to take it back apart and find a better way to assemble it myself. 06/13/2011
I like it This bench looks nice when finished. Like the instructions say, be careful putting in the plastic dowels, my husband hit one too hard and it broke through the top of the board. We touched it up with the pen and it's not too noticeable. Someone commented on the backing being like a piece of cardboard, so I was nervous about that when I ordered it. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the backing is actually pretty nice and thick. (I'm comparing it to a $20 3 shelf book case I bought at the same time. Now that thing really was a thin piece of cardboard).Overall, I like this little cubby bench! 04/09/2011
