Rated 4 out of 5 by Queue2 Not 100% blackout but close!! The darker the colour, the more it blocks out. They work well for the windows I wanted to use them. Iwill most likely add another blackout liner for the winter months for more efficiency. Love the texture, easy to iron and hang! 05/23/2012

Let me begin by saying that I have Eclipse "Dayton" curtains in my son's room, and Eclipse "Loop" in our guest room, they are of exceptional quality especially considering that they are relatively inexpensive window treatments. HOWEVER....I purchased four Eclipse "Owen" panels for my living room...they looked great in the package, although the cream color was a bit dark, but I assumed it was because of the lighting and the fact that the product was folded. When I got home and started putting them up to the window, the first thing I noticed was that the "cream" color is more of a very dark beige, but when I had all four panels up and stepped back to see if the color would work with the rest of the room, I noticed that all four of the panels were different lengths !!!!!!!!!!! Only one panel was true to the 84" length size listed on the package. one is at least two inches longer, and the other two panels are an inch shorter on one side than the other, which is 84.5" in length. So when they are hanging from the rod it almost has a random handkerchief hemline looking effect...which may not be too bad on a garment, but it looks ridiculous on a window treatment. Of course, I will be returning the panels, not only because of the issue of differing lengths, but also because they are more of a mushroom color than they "cream" In fairness, since I have been well pleased with other window treatments from Eclipse, I may decide to try another style from that brand and hope quality control was on their game the day they were manufactured :) 11/04/2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by KClower one of the curtains was cut crooked. Excellent curtains and blocking light and heat and cool... excellent value but be careful when you buy them... one was cut crooked and hung funny. We should have exchanged it! 03/25/2013
