Rated 5 out of 5 by CBmanteca Nice room darkening shades Bought these for 2 of my kids' rooms. I love them. They keep their rooms cool (their rooms are over the garage, so they get really warm), and it makes the room darker, so my baby naps better during the day. The only thing is I wish they came in more colors. And they are very wrinkled, so try to iron. 10/25/2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by JoinTN Good quality... not black out (GREEN) I have navy eclipse curtains in my other child's bedroom and bought these lime ones for the new baby... they are a great fabric, good weight, great color... but DO NOT black out the room like the others! As in, the glow of the window shines perfectly through, creating a nice outline of the window behind the curtains. They are darkening, but not black out (99%? NO WAY). I am guessing it just has to do with the color of the curtain? For $10 a curtain though, I really cant complain too much... its a $10 curtain, afterall. 12/13/2012

They don’t completely block out the light but I didn’t expect it to based on how inexpensive these curtains are. I had to return the chili color because I thought it was a dark pink but it is actually a burgundy red. I’m very happy with the lime green color. 12/20/2012
