This Eastport Black Messenger Bag is made of 100 percent polyester, a durable material that is resistant to stains. The Eastport Bag has an adjustable shoulder strap that can be suited for different-sized people. A detachable shoulder strap can be removed so that the it can be carried by the handle on the top. The Black Messenger Bag has an external pocket that zips closed. The Eastport Bag also contains pockets that can hold pencils or pens or even other office and school supplies. The pocketed messenger bag features an internal polyester lining for easy clean-up.

It is a bit larger than I would have liked. but I knew the size by the description. Same with the "messenger" style bag flap--I knew it was there, would have preferred not, because it just seems like an extra level to go through to get inside--even though it does give more storage pouches. I gave the bag as a gift so have no idea on its usability, but I would rate it very good, especially for the low cost. It is easily comparable to other bags I've seen for twice the money. 01/06/2013
