Earthwise 17" Cordless Mower-flawless performance Received product at least 5 days prior to original ship date estimate. Kudos to Earthwise, Wal-Mart Site-to-Store folks and FedEx. Product was easy to unpack, with only handles to assemble, no tools required.Because of homeowners association's concerns and my personal time restrictions, I disregarded product warnings and mowed 8 to 10 inch high crabgrass early in the morning when it was wet with dew.The mower really exceeded my expectation going at least 45 minutes under that heavy load, completing my small yard on the initial charge. I hadn't expected that, as it was nearly a month's growth.I was most surprised by no large clumps of grass being left even due to the height and wetness of the grass. I attributed this better mulching due to the high revs of an electric motor. My old gas engine always left large clumps even when the grass was dry whenever I let my "field of weeds" grow to that height previously.The ease of height adjustment was a real plus, one lever movement changes heights for all wheels. Gets the job done...but not for large yards! iThe only reason my husband and I are rating this as a four is because it will not hold charge for a half acre yard. It is also not as powerful as a gas mower, but with all that said, we are really pleased to have purchase this. It will save us in gas, oil, and maintenance later on. So easy to assemble, even my husband could do it (LOL!). Not to mention that this same mower is sooo much more on other websites. It still makes some noise, but nowhere near as much as traditional mowers.Overall, it's worth it. 07/08/2011
Works as well as gas powered, battery life great, doesn't come close to losing charge for small/moderate jobs. Lots of plastic so wouldn't advise for heavy duty use. Lot I use on is close to an acre and use to trim and serves the purpose wonderfully. Better price than most. Happy with purchase 07/24/2011
Description lacking important details! I just purchased this mower and it works great and was easy for a first-timer like me. There is NOT a grass clipping bag included as with some other brands and I wish that was more clearly stated. BUT, what really should have been mentioned is that the battery MUST BE RE-CHARGEDEVERY MONTH --- even in when not in use!! That is an important fact that would have made me look further at another brand. I wanted convenience not more work. Sorry I purchased this one. 07/08/2011
