I bought this to replace my aging Hd 5770. I knew going in that it was about the same as far as performance but it didn't meet my expectations. It is a good graphics card, don't get me wrong but I was hoping for a little more. The clock speeds are good but I think the 192-bit memory interface hurts the overall performance of the card. So I ended up returning this one and getting the GTX 560 which is $50 more but well worth it. 01/19/2012
best budget card i got this card thinking it would be a beginners card, i was wrong. i can run battle field 3 on ultra at almost 60 FPS. get this card, and if you can, get two with sli 05/22/2012

Geforce GTX 550 ti vs. a XFX GTX 260 Black Edition I noticed right away in playing Star Trek Voyager Elite Force, the 550 ti under preformed the XFX GTX 260. The 260 blew the ti away. In picking up ammunition for the various weapons in EF, I noticed the texture was not near as well done. The 550 ti is better by memory. I will use this card for normal use, and break out the better card when playing in a tournament type of game. 04/01/2012
