The Dyson Dc26 Multi-Floor City Canister Vacuum Cleaner is compact in size, but works like a full-size Dyson vacuum. It can be used to clean a wide range of floor types, including carpet, tile, vinyl, and wood. This Dyson bagless vacuum features detachable handle allows tools to fit directly to the end of the hose, for cleaning in tight places, and the floor tool clicks into the back of the machine when not in use for easy storage. It uses a Root Cyclone Technology, so it does not lose its suction power for spotless cleaning. With a HEPA filter, this vacuum cleaner effectively removes allergens making it an ideal choice for asthma patients.

I really like this vacuum; this machine has what I was a looking for: very light (I refuse to use big heavy vacuum), easy to use, easier to empty, bagless and washable filters, great suction, the cord is good for me (I never had a vacuum with a longer cord). I only have hard floors in my home. It is expensive, but great machine! 05/29/2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by gingersmom A great little canister I would recommend this Dyson canister as a very useful backup to your main household vacuum. I actually don't have to pull out my big size canister very often anymore! I have a long haired dog that sheds a lot and this vacuum comes in handy for everyday pick ups. It glides easily over my semi-shag carpet and is a breeze to move around. The only big design flaw I have encountered is that I feel the on-off switch should be on the wand near your hands and not down on the canister motor itself. We got a VERY good deal price-wise on this vacuum, otherwise I would consider it too pricey for my wallet. 05/23/2012
