The Dyson DC25 Animal is designed for homes with pets. It can be used on all floor types- carpet, wood, laminate, tile, and features Dyson's patented Root Cyclone" technology, that doesn't lose suction power as you vacuum. DC25 Animal also features Ball" technology, which allows you to smoothly steer the vacuum with a turn of the wrist. Because the motor is inside the ball, it has a low center of gravity making it even easier to steer and turn corners. The quick-draw telescope reach wand of the DC25 allows up to 16ft of reach for stair and high reach cleaning. The Clear bin" made of tough polycarbonate lets you see when it needs emptying. DC25 Animal comes complete with a Mini turbine head attachment to remove pet hair and dirt from hard to reach places such as upholstery, stairs and the car. Other on-board accessory tools include a combination accessory tool and a stair tool. DC25 Animal comes complete with a 5 year warranty, parts and labor guaranteed by Dyson.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Got2findit FANTASTIC for pet hair! Ordered on line and received within 24 hours. INCREDIBLE suction and pet hair removal. I vacuumed my rugs before using this vacuum and I couldn't believe what it pulled out of the carpets. My carpets haven't looked this clean in years! Best vacuum we've used and Walmart has the best price. No longer have to buy expensive bags either. 05/31/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Farsuperiormom Worth the Money! This is my second Dyson. Had the first one seven years and decided to upgrade to the new lighter version with the ball technology. It is lightweight and easy to move from different floorings---carpet, tile, hardwood---with just the push of a button. The best feature is the "animal" attachment that picks up dog hair remarkably well. I love being able to see the canister fill up---it gives a sense of really getting things clean. My only disappoint is a minor detail---the cord is shorter than my older model where I could go from room to room without having to unplug and reconnect. But overall, this is a great machine. 05/26/2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jackryan08 Good vacuum It sucks just like it is advertised. I have a dog and two kids so I vacuum frequently. Even frequent vacuums reveals that this vacuum suck really good and picks up a lot of dirt hair and dust. I have not used the bonus item, it is a granulated cleaner of some kind. There are some things that have taken some getting used to. The container can be difficult to empty and it does make a mess itself, contents empty from the bottom & sometimes it has to be shaken to free them. I empty outside straight into the garbage bin to reduce the amount that goes everywhere. The ball takes some getting used to as well. The hose is very long and the attachments ride with the vacuum and are very easy to remove, use & replace. I can make it to with in 3 stairs of the top with the vacuum on the ground floor. So far it has proven a good buy & an upgrade over our previous vacuum. 10/03/2011
