The Dyson Ball DC24 Animal Upright Vacuum is a light upright machine that can be used on most floor types and homes with pets. The handle can slide into the machine allowing you to store it in small places. This lightweight bagless vacuum cleaner has a motorized brush bar, driven by an independent motor for improved cleaning performance. The vacuum cleaner has an integrated fingertip brush control to switch the brush bar on or off. Equipped with a reversible wand, the DC24 Animal vacuum reaches even the most inaccessible areas. The ball technology used in the vacuum cleaner lets you maneuver it with ease. It also comes with a min turbine heat attachment that picks up minute pet hair. For effortless dusting, you can convert the nozzle into a brush tool using an on board accessory tool. As with all Dyson ball vacuum cleaners, the DC24 Animal vacuum has minimal loss of suction.

Rated 5 out of 5 by momof2dogs Dyson Animal I have 2 large dogs that shed like crazy. I was fed up with having to buy a new vacuum every year becuase we would run them into the ground with all the dog hair. After hearing a few reviews we deiced to purchase a Dyson Animal. We were a little hesitant becuase they are pricey but boy are we glad we did. I use this vacuum almost every day (2 large dogs-remember!) and it is amazing the amount of hair and dirt that this thing picks up. The suction is the best and it never clogs up on me. I have had to call the Dyson hotline once because of an issue and they were great. Talked me through the entire process and my vacuum was back to its amazing self (there was something caught in the beater brush). The hotline employees were patient, friendly and very professional.I would recommended this vacuum to anyone and everyone who can't stand dog hair or dirt. It is the best vacuum I have ever owned and I have owned quite a few. Completely worth every penny. 01/19/2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by PhillyClean Vacuum Again??? It is a pleasure to vacuum!!This is our 2nd Dyson. We had the 1st for 3 years then gave it to our son, who loves it. This product always does a great job on any surface. I have vacuumed rooms that I thought were already clean and still pick up a lot of materials in the bin.It is a bit heavier than I'd like to take up stairs, but worth the trip.Only negative is that the on board attachments don't stay attached well in storage spots 01/19/2011

Rated 5 out of 5 by ukcats06 Wonderful Vacuum! I absolutely love this vacuum. I have 4 cats and a dog and there is always hair on the ground with them! The canister makes it easy to empty (which I have to do often!) without getting your hands dirty. The attachments are easy to use and also work well. I don't use many of the attachments, usually just the ones for corners. My mom has a Dyson and after using hers I knew I could not go without one! I loved it so much that is what I asked for as a birthday gift and I got it- for myself! My only "problem" with the dyson is that it doesn't vacuum the floor itself! I do use it more than I used my other vacuum because its just so easy and I can really see the carpet clean when I am done. My friends even come over and enjoy "playing" with it, which I am all for! 01/17/2011
