Rated 5 out of 5★ by Redman Stay'n warm up north Works great, distributes the warm air around the room better than any other heater we've had before. The only downfall would be that it doesn't have a shut-off timer on it. 12/14/2011
Rated 5 out of 5★ by blackdog AM02 Tower Fan is great Love the fan as I am always cold and my office and house is kept cool because of my husband and dogs, so I can be comfortable in my own personal space without having to increase the overall temperature for the whole house or office. 01/11/2012
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Micki1020 Amo2 Tower Heat/Cool I am happy with the fan part of the machine.I turned the heat on for a test run and it did produce heat. The weather is too warm right now to really test the heat feature. It's quite, the air is constant (does not waffle).Well made, but a bit pricey as all Dyson products are. 06/06/2012
Rated 5 out of 5★ by windlover totally awesome I purchased this fan and the table top fan. They are both great. The tower fan I have for my bedroom. I am handicapped and the remote helps with out having to ask for help or getting up on my own (which is difficult). The ease of cleaning these machines was also a selling point for me.Because of my handicapp it is difficult to lug fans around, take them apart and clean them. These are perfect and fit in my life wonderfully. Just wipe and go. Can't get any easier than that! Thank you for developing these easy to put together and maintenance free machines. Not to mention the tremondous amount of air they move. Much more than the traditional fans. 07/11/2012
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Custodis My Perfect Office Companion I bought this after it went on sale and having played with the display models in a nearby electronics chain store for months. I'm a bit of a polar bear when I'm studying and doing work in my home office, so I needed a fan that would help keep the room cool despite all the electronics and equipment I have to run. I had toyed with the idea of getting the desktop and pedestal models instead, but my wife and her aesthetic touch determined the Tower Iron/Blue model would be best for the room (and I have to agree now that it's been here for awhile). The fan itself came in 3 separate pieces: The tower, the motor, and the base plate. They all snapped together very quickly and easily. The build feels and looks solid while still maintaining that Dyson style. It took less than a minute to put together and place in the room. It's very lightweight but packs some power. My office measures a little over 11' x 14' and the fan cools it very well in a matter of minutes. It helps if you put it on oscillate to speed this process up, but I wanted to cool specific equipment (PC, laser printer, desk lamps and monitors) so I keep it pointed on those. The included remote allows me to leave it where my wife wanted me to put it and continue working while adjusting as needed. When I shutdown for the evening the remote really does magnetically rest on the top of the fan with no issue. This thing is whisper quiet on the lower settings, but in my Texas heat I have to crank it up to max most afternoons and it is noticeably louder. That being said, it is still quieter than the printer and PC fans if I'm not listening to music and blocking out all the noise anyway. Some of my tower fans or pedestal fans in the past that I've tried have made squeaking or grinding noises after only a weekend of continuous use while oscillating and this thing still hasn't made a peep in that regard. The air moved by the tower fan is indeed continuous and non-buffeting. It leaves me undisturbed and comfortable during prolonged use. Since I've added it to the room it has run nearly 16 hours a day and there has been absolutely no change in the flow. I have wiped it down with a lightly moistened dusting towel where indicated after each week though, which may have contributed to this. All in all it's my favorite addition to my office. I can't recommend it enough, especially when it goes on sale. If you live in a warmer clime like myself this will serve you well! 09/23/2013
