1. preheat oven to 350f for metal or glass pans, 325f for dark or coated pans. Grease sides And bottom of pan with shortening. Flour lightly. 2. blend dry cake mix, water And eggs in large bowl at low speed until moistened (about 30 seconds). Pour into cake pan And bake immediately. 3. bake following the chart below. Add 3-5 minutes to bake time for dark or coated pans. Cake is done when toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes. Carefully run spatula around edge of pan to loosen. Invert cake onto heat-resistant serving platter with rim. Poke holes in cake with the end of a wooden spoon, 1/2-inch apart. 4. blend contents from small packet And milk in small bowl with wire whisk until completely blended. 5. pour milk syrup over top of cake slowly. Cover And refrigerate at least 2 hours. Frost before serving.
