My sister is away at college and wanted a bag for days when she has a light class load. Got her this for Christmas and she loved it. 02/13/2012
This product was ordered just before Christmas, but even still, seemed to take a very long time to ship. After shipping I received it quickly.The bag itself is very good quality, thick, strong canvas with some sort of waterproofing coating. The adjustable strap is made out of "seatbelt-like" nylon which would be great except that it seems too thin and slippery to hold the buckle in place and keep the strap the length you want it. It always ends up at the longest length possible. Maybe after the material is broken in it will stay in place better. I am hopeful.I was also hoping for more pockets to stash stuff, but most of the things that looked like pockets are really to hold pens or something because there is no bottom to them; they are just loops. Not sure what I'm supposed to do with all of those.The picture looks like canvas and I was hoping it would be soft and flexible. In general it seems like good quality and when it loosens up and softens a little I think I will love it. 01/16/2012
