I called the number on the back of the package and spoke to a rep at Equate and asked why I cant find replacement heads for the last 6-8 months. The first time I called in Oct they said they were making an update/newer version of the heads and they should be out in 4 weeks. Now Dec I call back and the rep checked into this and said they are not going to make replacement heads, they are being discontinued.

I bought this because of the price. I've used it for a week and the power began to weaken almost immediately so I put in new batteries....no better. I just put it in the trash.

I purchased these toothbrushes for my daughter and myself and have been very happy with it for the last 6 months, however today when I went to find replacement heads, I found that not only the store does not carry them, but they cannot be found online either! Do not buy this unless you want to toss the entire unit every 6 months.

Great product but Walmart no longer offers the replacement heads so a waste of money in my book. I'm irritated that I bought one and used it and now found out I can't replace the head. I wouldn't spend your money on this product.

That is the only feature I am not happy with. Not sure if mine is defective or if none of them turn completley on.

  • A. You shouldn't have to keep pushing the button. Mine turns on and stays on until I turn it off. Maybe yours is defective.

  • A. I don't understand what you mean.. you press the button to turn it on and off... You turn a light switch on by pushing it up and off by pushing it down.. When you press the button it should turn on full speed and give you a couple of little zitzes every 30 seconds to tell you to move the brush to another quadrant of your mouth.. don't really care for this feature myself though..

  • A. I had that problem with my first one and by holding it on while brushing I believe I worsened the defect and it eventually became totally inoperable. My second one had the same problem, but this time I noticed that the batteries were not making good contact, so I used a tool with a hook at the end to reach into the battery compartment and stretch the 2 springs (I had to pull quite hard on each to get them to stretch enough). WalMart's engineers should consider a design modification to have the springs molded to stick out further and/or to use a larger (thicker) gage wire and/or a stronger material wire. Perhaps a gold plated contact area of the springs would do the trick. I have been using it for about 4 months now with no problems - I press the on (|) button (without holding it) and it stays on until I press the off (o) button (occasionally accidentally). Additionally, I use rechargeable NiMH 1.2V batteries and only have to recharge them about every 3-4 weeks. I am amazed (and very pleased) with how little power is consumed in the operation of this product.

  • A. Once I turn mine on, I let go of the switch and it stays on until I purposely switch it to the off position. They're cheap enough for me to suggest you just go buy another one to solve your problem.

  • A. I really enjoy mine, and I am not expericing a problem. I push the button to start it and it stays on until I push the button to turn it off. I am sorry that you are having this problem, but I would check into exchanging it for another one because it is really a brush.

I can't seem to get the battery to come out by pulling on it is there a switch someplace?

  • A. You remove the bottom by pushing it on one side to release the little catch and then pull it straight off. it is very tight I guess to keep water out. When you replace the batteries just push it back on. It uses two AA batteries.

  • A. I have purchased replacement heads in the past (pack of 2 for the same price as the complete unit), but they apparently are no longer available (I would like to see them available in different softnesses). Our store put them into the clearance section and they all sold quickly. It is possible that there are stores which still have them in stock. Unfortunately, I do not remember the UPC number of the item to do an online search of stores that still have them in stock.
