Unhappy Customer! We purchased this product because we thought it'd be cheaper to buy this, and the filters as needed then spending more money on gallon jugs of water. We bought this, first of all...had to go out and BUY a new adapter because the ones provided didnt fit our faucet. The water had little to no smell to it, but tasted HORRIBLE! Im not unusally picky about the taste of water, but if its bad enough to where u dont even want 2 swallow it...thats getting pretty bad. Also after I had finished some, before refilling the bottle i noticed a salt like residue in the bottle. I had ONLY the purified water in there no crystal light or anything like that. Im returning it and buying more gallon jugs of water w. that money.*question to how often you use this product, i put never because, ive used it once...and never gonna use it again 01/02/2012
pretty sharp and good quality We installed looks really nice and functions just as advertised. It was a simple install.The taste started out super but our water has a chemical aftertaste that it does not remove. It makes the water taste really much better from our tap but not a total clean taste which I think it does a superior job what we use it for is cooking water. There is absolutely no chlorine taste at all, clear as a bell... for the money you probably can't beat it. 03/21/2012
I've had this filter for over two years now and am very pleased in general as water tase is very clean and the filter life indicator is very useful. My chrome is beginning to come off also but that is probably due to normal wear and tear and/or excessive flexing of the plastic housing. Walmart dosen't always stock the 200 gal filters but I found them quickly online.Highly recommend 02/27/2012
This is the first water filter i have ever purchased, but i must say it was a very good purchase ! It is very very very easy to install and after the initial first gallon flush out it produces a very clean tasteing water , the only parts i dont like about the filter is the case seems to be a cheap plastic that could break very easy and the digital read out is kind of hard to read in a dark room but other then those things I would give it 2 thumbs up ! 02/03/2012
