This replaced an older, similar, model.  Construction quality is better on this one and is of excellent build quality. Used to transport a 125 pound female, and is plenty strong enough for that purpose.  The brakes on this chair seem to be more sturdy than previous model. We have a couple of other similar chairs, one with the regular 8 inch rear wheels.  For any outdoor use, the 12 inch wheels are highly recommended to better accommodate irregular surfaces.  This chair is an excellent value from Walmart. Delivery to home was very fast.

Good Chair

This transport chair arrived on time and is very easy to use.  So much lighter (22 lbs.) than a regular wheelchair to lift into a vehicle.  The chair is steady and transports a 200 person easily.  Works great in dining out at restaurants as the arms fit underneath the table and the bulkiest of a regular wheelchair is just not there.  I would recommend this transport chair.

This really help with my caregiving of my husband. The bigger wheels in the back are a must! Medicare offers a transport chair , but it's the smaller back wheels 8in?
  The 10 in? Back wheels make all the difference! I was able the load the chair in my Impala %26 happy to get him out %26 about :)  remember the brakes are in the handles pull down :)  we both loved this chair %26 family did to , those regular wheel chairs get heavy!  %26 you have to get over the door threshold's Regards!

Drive products never disappoint. Very high armrests though (difficult for 5'2" person to push off from), added a gel seat cushion and it was the perfect "booster seat"!

Lightweight but Very sturdy

Mom's 'everyday' chair was heavy and hard to handle when she wanted to go out and about with friends. Dad had trouble putting the old model in the car also. This new light weight chair is easier for everyone to lift in and out of the car. Now Mom is on the move! The larger rear tires seem to help when she is not on a basic hard floor. I compared the Walmart price to everywhere I could find online and it was great with free shipping. The chair arrived at her door earlier than expected and she was as happy as if it was a new Rolls Royce. BTW Mom says the blue is not as bright as it shows online (a good thing).

I use this Drive aluminum transport chair to take my 96 year old mother to her appointments at the hospital and doctors office. It's much lighter than our old metal transport chair (this chair weighs about 22lbs with the foot rests on). It folds down nicely, and the carry handles are very useful. The brakes work well, and you can lock them out by pushing the brake handles down for when I go to help mom out of the chair. The bigger wheels are nice... I use to hang up on the metal thresholds going through the hospital doors on my old one. I highly recommend this chair for the price.

Great lightweight transport chair!

Well constructed, high quality transport wheelchair.  Only two issues: First, it weights about 26lbs, not 19 lbs as shown in the ad (should be corrected!), secondly, the footrest arms detach too easily when unlocked.  Other than that, nice item, a keeper.

Chair works fine and my 220 pound dad is comfortable for short trips. However, the foot petal broke at the solder line the first time we used it. I did call customer service and they refunded me the full cost of the chair.

Good chair but you have to treat it gently.

This chair lasted 2 weeks. Hit a bump in sidewalk and front caster folded like a cheap suit.  Pain in the neck to get parts, providers???  No, we should be able to order direct!!

My husband is very tall he was  sitting in it first day we used it he reached over to grab something the chair fell backwards  he fell to floor  and handles  broke off  took it back that day. luckily he was not injured just some bruises. But had to call for help to get him up.
