Some of the embellishments have button holes so yes you can use them for quilting. However these I am sorry to say are plastic and require a form of glue depending on what your crafting or decorating use will be. Four of these are the color I want so they are going on the corners of a small square framed mirror. The other four will be painted and used to glue onto candles with a piece of small biege rope to sit by the stand up mirror. Other people use them in there scrap books next to vacation photo's of when they have beach pictures or put them on picture frames of a beach picture with someone in it to add dimension and a little snap to the photo. It is summer so many moms and dads like to have childrens craft projects around for rainy days, Things they can put together glue down on paper add sand over it then glue on your shell color a sun with water colors or put glue down very thin and add yellow sugar sprinkles blue water. Perhaps a dolphin or shark fin coming out of the water or cut a cirle from the end of a paper towel roll or anything really and paint it like a bouy or make a ship on the water. The idea are endless for girls boys adults grandparents. Anything your imagination want to do. I use these things to put an extra touch on decor around the house to make it uniquely me. what I like, the color I want it and so on.The main idea is to have fun if it is not then do not buy it. Not suppose to be work or frustrating.

THEY ARE USED IN A SCRAPBOOK I GUESS THEY COULD BE SEWN INTO A QUILT. THAT WOULD BE PRETTY. AND, THE BACK, IT'S KIND OF GOT A CURVE TO IT BUT NOT BAD. LISA

The backs are flat and alot of people use the, for Native American Beadwork like earrings and medallions or hair clips. Glue them onto Pellon or another Fabric Stabilizer and then Bead around them with small seed beads(glass beads not from walmart but good brands like Miyuki, Preciosa or Toho. They loos amazing!!!

Embellishments are meant to be used serendipitously by the hobbyist. The product is made of plastic, so it could be sewn to a quilt by an ingenious person. They can be sewn to any fabric or glued to any type of crafting paper. They are flat and the back looks just like it seems like it would (nothing on it as far as mounts or anything as they are meant to be free 'standing' in some applications).

I bought them and glued them onto mini claw clips so my daughter could have cat clips. We looked everywhere for cat hair clips and no luck. So I decided to make them.

I put these on my grand daughter hair bows that I just started making.  I have found something that I really enjoy doing and something I can do.  These  little angels just added something to the bows, even though she's our little angel.
