Perfect for a 5 yr old My son wanted these after watching the preview on some other movie, since we all enjoyed the original movie we figured we'd all like them. While they are cute stories they are very short 17 and 22 minutes only. They could have expanded on the stories and made them a little longer. Those are the complaints of the adults, my 5 yr old loves them both, the book of dragons is watched more than the other one but he loves to watch them over and over again and can tell me which dragon is which so they served their purpose-entertainment for a 5 yr old. 04/24/2012

Good Addition to a great movie My son (8) received this for Christmas and really liked it. The only problem was he had already seen it on Netflix streaming at home. So it wasn't the surprise I thought it would be. Also, I did not read the information too carefully about this pack. I was under the impression I was getting a full length movie. Instead, the Christmas movie is a little over 20 minutes.That being said, I did not pay much for this set (about $10) and, therefore, feel I did get a good deal. It was worth the money I paid and I am glad I purchased it. One thing I appreciated about this Christmas movie is that all the principal actors are the same as the original movie (rare for Hollywood).Overall, this is a delightful Christmas story with Hiccup and Toothless that my family enjoyed. 01/10/2012
Great follow up movie We loved the original movie. My daughters have several items from the movie decorating their room. They really enjoyed the new 22 minute Christmas DVD. The quality of the animtion was just as good as the original. Ordering it on line and having it sent to my house for $1 was very convenient during the holiday rush 01/02/2012
