There were a couple of design flaws, but easy to remedy with a screwdriver and included screws. Quick to assemble - except for the two design flaws... two screw holes did not line up. Bed is sturdy overall.Our daughter loves the bed... especially the pink color and was quick to use it like a "big girl". Attached side rails and sleigh-style make mom and dad happy. 01/03/2008
Rated 5 out of 5 by DarkNoon Easily assembled, sturdy I was surprised at the quality of the product for the price. Seeing no other reviews on this bed, I was a bit hesitant to purchase, due to safety and durability concerns. It really is a well put together bed. Solid wood runners and slats, with grade 8 hardware. The main brace for matress support is from poplar and the other slats are cedar. There should be no issue of easy breakage with a toddler who likes to jump. Assembly took all of 5-10 minutes by myself. Only a phillips screwdriver is required. The instructions are very simple, although I recommend inserting the slats in a vertical position verus horizontal, as per the instructions. It's much more easy to align them when handling alone. A great sleigh bed for the money. I recommend it. 12/25/2007
