Rated 4 out of 5★ by gram2six 2nd time around worked out great! The first toddler bed I ordered on walmart.com came and was the wrong color and wrong style. The 2nd time, it was correct. The expresso is not as dark as I had hoped (closer to dark walnut) but it is OK. Our grandson (19 months) loves his new bed. It seems much safer because it's not as tall as a regular bed. He has fallen out a couple times while sleeping but never got hurt (other than his feelings). I understand now why some have complained about the slats. They don't seem to be made out of very sturdy material. So far, no problems and he's over 30 pounds. If he does jump on it (not allowed but could happen) and they break, we will replace them with plywood on the entire area. We purchased a nicer mattress that is not plastic covered and use a fluid proof mattress pad to keep accidents from soaking in. He seems quite comfortable. I do wish the screws that hold it together were not so visible. But for the money, I think it will be fine. It doesn't take up any more room than a crib so it works out for our needs. 05/04/2010
Rated 3 out of 5★ by lorielie The finish product looks as expected. It looks wonderful in my daughter's room. However, putting it together was a struggle. Some piece measurements seemed to be slightly off. I had to sand down some of the wood pieces to make them fit in their respective hole. I used wood glue to help add a little more stability to the toddler bed. the bottom frame is flimsy. I have to keep a close eye on my 23 month old when she plays in her room... she tries to jump and bounce on her new bed. I believe it can last toddlerhood. I'm happy with the toddler bed. 10/21/2011
Rated 5 out of 5★ by mudslide1 I love this little bed. It matches his crib that has been handed down to his little brother. It was alittle difficult to put together because some of the holes for the rails were of different lenghts but we worked it out. It's pretty sturdy, it's holding up well with my 2 year old jumping around on it. 07/26/2011
Rated 5 out of 5★ by lovemykids03 I purchased this bed for my daughter who just turned two. It bed is really cute and looks great in her room. Her walls are poplar so the darker wood looks so good. I thought it was pretty simple to assemble. I used a cordless drill and it took maybe twenty minutes. I did not put the side rails on b/c i think it looks better plus the bed is so close to the floor i'm just gonna put a cushion down for a few weeks. i think the rails make it look more like a crib plus they don't really serve much purpose as far as keeping the child in the bed. My husband will probably end up reinforcing the slats under the mattress just so our little jumper doesn't break it. My only complaint is there is an ugly yellow sticker on the footboard saying it's been certified, well, great but i don't wanna see that everytime i walk in the room. They need to figure out a better place to put it. Other than that it's a great bed and pretty well made for the price. Really happy with this purchase!!! 06/07/2010
Rated 5 out of 5★ by BellaAB Great Todddler Bed This is a great bed for transitioning toddlers from their cribs. My little guy, who is two, sleeps so muh better now. He used to get out of bed every night, most likely from falling out of his convertible crib. The crib had no guard and it was hard to find a guard capatible with the crib. Atleast with the toddler bed he feels more like a big boy now! My only complaint is that there were a whole lot of parts...but the bed is very sturdy. 03/04/2013
Rated 1 out of 5★ by Momoftwo56 Quality is very poor. There is a lot of assembly required for this bed. It also had a lot of chips and dents. The quality is horrible and it had a funny smell to it. I wished I didn't buy it. 11/18/2012
Rated 5 out of 5★ by MomaFrugal SO Cute...Worth Every Penny Considering that the price of this toddler bed is far better than any of the other stores I looked at (target too), I was suprised at how much I really liked the bed. It is really adorable and stylish, a definite complement to my little guys new "big boy" room. 06/21/2010
