No the crib does not come with a mattress as pictured. It does come with a very thin "pad" maybe one inch thick. I was very disappointed especially since I had made several phone calls to determine if this product came with the mattress as shown.

Yes, but it's a really cheap, thin, flimsy mattress. So getting a Dream on Me Baby porta-crib mattress instead is a must for this crib. I'd say the mattress it comes with is not even 1/2 and inch thick. It's a joke.

The crib/playpen comes with a thin pad for when it is in use as a playpen. You would definitely need to purchase a mini mattress for sleeping.
